What is kay williams?

Kay Williams (born Catherine Lucy Montagne; August 3, 1916 – February 23, 1983) was an American actress and writer. She appeared in films such as "The Roaring Twenties" (1939), "Bringing Up Baby" (1938), and "The Women" (1939). She was also the co-author of the novel "Deadlier Than the Male" (1942) and the autobiographical book "The Vanishing American" (1968).

In addition to her work in film and writing, Kay Williams was also known for her marriage to actor Clark Gable. The couple married in 1955 and had one son together. Williams and Gable remained married until his death in 1960.

After Gable's death, Kay Williams continued to work in Hollywood as a script supervisor and dialogue coach. She passed away in 1983 at the age of 66.
